About Me

I am a self taught photographer based in rural Kent. I was given my first camera, (a Box Brownie) at the age of eight by my amateur photographer father and quickly gained enthusiasm for picture taking. I attended Medway Art College in the mid 1970's studying art and graphic design. I spent most of my adult life within the sign and outdoor advertising industry working as a designer, signmaker and signwriter, dipping in and out of photography. During late 2008, I decided on a career change from graphic design to photographer.
As a boy, I have always been mad on cars, collecting Corgi, Dinky and Hot Wheels diecast toys which stretched to adult life where I have owned many classic cars. As a result, my passion for the motor vehicle has fuelled my enthusiasm for creative automotive photography. Since embarking on photography in a professional capacity, I have had my photographic images used commercially for the film industry as well as having them appear and favourably critiqued on tv's Alan Titchmarsh Show in March 2012. My images have also been used in brochures, calenders, signage and websites etc. I also sell my work through galleries, and retail outlets to the general public and I am more than happy to take on commissions.
